WORK SERIES “CITY”
Paper, acrylic, markers, 45×32 cm, 2020-2021
Works were created last year, during lockdown. They depict different buildings of different cities where the artist was. In fact, in times of isolation, architecture is the only thing that is stable, unchanging, at least in the current rapid changes. The buildings that surround us become an integral part of our daily lives, but due to the fast pace of life we forget to notice them. So author forces the viewer to stop and pay attention to what surrounds them, to learn something familiar or to notice changes, perhaps to identify themselves in his city.
