LONG EXPOSURE N14
Photo project. 40×60 cm, digital printing, 2020
The project is a reflection of the “happy ending” of the long history of the H-14 road, which connects hundreds of thousands of people, the center and south of Ukraine, the cities of Kropyvnytskyi and Mykolaiv. The project presents 5 photos taken in a long exposure mode. The author tried to convey the meanings and feelings of the travel kaleidoscope, dynamics and movement, impressions of the moments of travel. Once the worst road in Ukraine, in 2020, after restoration, it was transformed into a kind of “portal” of opportunities for many travelers – just when most people suffered from the coronavirus pandemic and lost established connections and normal lifestyles. In these conditions, the H-14 route has become a symbol of real, not virtual communication, an example of overcoming numerous challenges and the inspiration for an interesting story.
