Project description

One of the rare manifestations of gentrification processes in Ukraine is the transformation of former industrial premises of the industrial era into cozy and inexpensive coworking, where mostly people from the field of digital technologies and creative business work. The infrastructure, which was created for large-scale industrial production, is being transformed into images of domestic working comfort.

In “After Gentrification,” these cozy workplaces, created with the industrial heritage in mind, are transformed into abandoned and natural locations after the type of production can change from a digital economy to something else.
