Mykolaiv ART Week ended with a musical open air

Mykolaiv ART Week – festival of contemporary art ended with an open-air music concert. Kyiv singer TEYA FLOW and Mykolaiv electronic musician VVARMKOLD together created an incredible atmosphere at *8 PRICHAL.

The first open-air concert in 2021 in the city brought together more than a hundred connoisseurs of emotional atmosphere and true musical depth.

It was an evening full of expression and electronic combinations and experiments.

Mykolayiv residents discovered the young Ukrainian singer TEYA FLOW as an inflammatory mix of sensual vocals, electronic music and live instruments. This captivated the audience and made people move from the first sounds.

Her music is characterized by a combination of different musical styles and genres (synthwave, retrowave, pop). Together with a team of musicians, the singer played a one-and-a-half-hour program against the backdrop of a fantastic sunset over the Southern Bug. There were already well-known songs that repeatedly topped the charts Top Shazam Discovery Japan and Top Shazam Ukraine, and brand new songs performed for the first time in front of the audience. Among them there was a work authored by the Mykolaiv Anton Pluzhnik who acted as the sound producer of collective.

Another opening of the evening for a wide audience was Mykolaiv electronic musician VVARMKOLD (Olexander Balashov). This is a completely different side of music at the intersection of the genres breakbeat, acid, techno, d’n’b, idm and others. During the evening after party it was impossible to just stand and watch – the body required movements and inflammatory dances, typical of wild and unrestrained raves.

The events took place in compliance with all quarantine measures. The festival of contemporary art Mykolaiv ART Week “CONNECT” 2021 realised by the MY ART Platform in partnership with the Mykolaiv Development Agency and the art space *8 PRICHAL with support of US Embassy in Ukraine.
